{ Once an idol, always an idol. It was Rise's day off and she decided to go to the arcade. The first thing she wanted to do was play the 'Dance Step Mania' Game. While she was in Tokyo back in her world, it had always been her favorite game and often disguised herself just to play it in peace.

The feed starts with Rise's introduction. She was winking and smiling to the camera. Once in a while, even blowing a kiss. She turned the camera and showed a very grouchy Lucemon. It looked like Rise had dragged him there. }

Good Morning, everyone! It's Rise and I am here at the arcade about to play a game called --- say it, Lucy!

Dance Step Mania ...

Say it with more life!

*sighs* DANCE STEP MANIA!!!

Close enough ... Now, let Rise amaze you!

{ Rise had Lucemon hold the camera towards her and began her first game. After selecting a song and setting it on basic first, she began to dance. It was an upbeat song and she was scoring very high. There was no sign of panting or hardship. Looks like she really was used to it. For her, this was no different from the dances she did as an idol. }

{ When the song ends she turns to the camera again and gives a deep bow. But she wasn't done. }

I was wondering if someone else out there knows how to play this game. If you do, why don't you come over and try to challenge me?

I warn you, I'm pretty good!

[ Wally's been watching this entire time, clearly impressed. You work it, Rise. He gives her a full round of applause when she's done. ]

I'm pretty sure I'd fall on my face somehow if I tried to play, so I think I'll just watch. I don't think I'm supposed to play the games while I'm working, anyway.

[ Normally, Rise would probably just smile and throw a VICTORY sign. She was feeling a little mischievous so she puts her arms around him and kissed him. It was easier now since the platform of the machine gave her extra height.

When she backed away, she grinned. ]

I don't suppose you're allowed to kiss your girlfriend while working either. How about just one game? Please?

[ The kiss takes Wally a bit by surprise, but he smiles into it nonetheless. ]

I dunno, but I don't think there's anything in the rules about my girlfriend kissing me at work, so I think we're safe.

[ He glances over at the machine, then back at Rise, trying to decide how much of a fool he wants to make of himself. Eventually, he gives in. He can't say no to that face. ]

Alright, alright, just one game.

[ Rise laughed. With a defense like that, has Wally ever thought of a career in law?

She was actually counting on him not being able to resist. She happily kissed him again, thought this time it was on the cheek and returned to the platform to choose a song. ]

And I know the perfect song too.

[ And then chose this song. Is that an amused smile on her face?

... maybe? ]

[ Wally laughs and shakes his head and steps up onto the platform next to Rise. He may have had fleetfeet back home, but here his reflexes are totally off, so he's probably going to suck really hard at this game that's all about reaction time. ]

I might be your hero, but you're gonna have to save me from the embarrassment of playing this game later.

Ready when you are.

But rescuing would be a good change from my being the fair damsel.

[ She laughs and pushes the button to start up the game before then reaching out to hold his hand.

It comes to life and it began to play. This was a familiar song to her, so the dance was really quite simple for her. ]

And I'm pretty sure I'm the one in distress right now...

[ He smiles awkwardly as she pushes the button to start the game and gives her hand a light squeeze. Just follow the arrows, Wally, you can do it.

It's not as bad as he was thinking it was going to be, but Rise is still way more practiced than he is. He starts to get in the groove about halfway into the song after nearly tripping over himself at the beginning, but there's no way he's going to beat Rise at this one. ]

[ The song began and Rise of course moved with the finesse of a professional. She was having fun and did some freestyle moves too. But what she was really after was just to be able to do something with him she supposed.

She can cross out "Play an arcade game with boyfriend" now. Wally might not be the best DDR player, but he was still brave for trying this with her. At least they finished it and didn't get a game over. He did very well actually. ]

CLEARED

[ Well, if Wally can say anything about this experience, it's that playing DDR is definitely a workout. He's panting a little by the time the song is over, but he looks over to Rise with a grin on his face. That was actually pretty fun. ]

Alright, I'll admit, that was pretty fun, even with my lack of coordination.

[ She jumped off the machine, and gave a Victory sign. She wins this time. But she didn't really play with him to win. She was just being Rise and wanted just a bit of time with him. ]

You did great. Don't be silly!

I am meeting Terra in a few minutes during her break. I'll wait for your shift to finish.

[ Wally laughs at Rise's enthusiasm. It's one of the things he loves about her. ]

I should be off in an hour or so. Do you wanna go somewhere after this and grab something to eat? Or we can rent a movie or something and make popcorn.

An hour ... that should probably be enough time to have our girl talk.

And I like the idea of a movie! [ Then she lowers her voice to a whisper before continuing. Once in a while glancing at the suspicious Lucemon. ]

Can we do it at your place though? I don't want Lucemon to interrupt again.

[ Wally glances over Rise's shoulder to Lucemon and then gives her an awkward but somehow reassuring smile. ]

Yeah, no problem. BB's cool with you coming over whenever, so he shouldn't be a bother. If he's even there. Dunno which shift he's working today.

Great then! I'm sure it will be fine. If he isn't, at least I'll have you all to myself for a few hours.

[ She gives him one last kiss on the cheek before she leaves to go meet Terra. ]
