[The feed opens up with Alex sitting on the floor surrounded by a pile of open, half-filled books.]

Okay, you lot, listen up. I've been compiling the information I gained from the attack on the castle. Any extra information is welcome and will be added to my notes, but for now, here's what I've got. Any of you assholes who are just here to dismiss what I say out of hand can kindly go sit on a rake and spin for a while, as this is actually concrete and important.

First of all, emotional idiots need to be kept off the battlefield. Something about negative emotions bloody idiots trying to force shit into too-small labels can fuck up your Digimon's evolutions, and it's twice now I've been at ground zero for a fucking pants-on-head retarded asshole turning their Digimon into a giant fucking monster that then proceeded to try to kill their own partner, and anyone around, i.e. me. Did anyone with a degree in psychology or some shit come through? Anyone with known emotional instability needs to be kept out from fighting until they've had some proper counseling.

Which brings me to my second point: We are not quite as helpless as we have been led to believe. I've personally confirmed the effectiveness of Molotov cocktails, along with just plain old dousing a monster in petrol and lighting it on fire. The flower whore ran away before I could test the bleach and ammonia, but she had some bullshit healing powers anyway. Fucking final stages. Regardless, the point is, a sharp stick might not be any good, but that just means you need to be creative. I'm going to start running chemistry lessons for those who care to learn, how to make basic medicines, poisons, and explosives with the materials we can acquire here. I'll be moving out to a new home with more space as soon as I can, so it'll be easier to contact me with interest on this thing.

Speaking of the floral twat, though, she needs mentioning. She was named Lotusmon, and she was at the castle, saying she was claiming it for her master. Like any stereotypically obviously evil servant from a children's story, she wouldn't say who this master was, of course. She was talking about a Scope Virus, as well- The implication was that this virus was sealed in the castle, and it was what drove the Digimon there insane. Also, our Digimon and possibly we humans as well are susceptible to it, from how she talked. And yes, she was talking, she was very clearly in her right mind while wanting to kill us.

Now, to talk about her for a moment, since she said she was going to have a rematch with us: She's obvious when you see her, she's a fucking purple woman with a sad excuse for a shirt throwing her tits everywhere, bellbottoms that went out of style decades ago, and a flower for a head. She's also carrying two staffs, one of which is the Caduceus, a symbol of commerce and negotiation and some idiots gave it medical connotations, essentially an advertisement for non-combat. Considering she then attacked us with that fucking symbol of peace, this goes back to what I said about trusting fucking nothing here. That's a fucking war crime at home. But, she is a flower, and my cocktails and fire tactics worked, even though she's an Ultimate, or a Mega- God, I fucking hate this dialectal nomenclature, who the hell designed this- The point is, we kicked her ass, though she killed one of ours in the process. Gazimon fought her, so she'll give the information about how she fights.

[Gazimon takes over talking at this point.]

I destroyed her staff and one of the sidekicks cut off her arms to make her helpless so she'd answer our questions. Turns out, even if you destroy her staff and cut off her arms, she can still use both of those without being attached. She healed herself entirely and left. Other than that, she has the power to cause decay, and to trap people in delusions of their desire. Serpent Cure is the technique that heals her, it takes the form of a white aura from the white snake on her staff that burns you if you touch it. The decay move is Serpent Ruin, a black aura from the black snake. The fantasy is from her other staff, called Seven's Fantasia, it's a rainbow aura. Ruin and Fantasia both have to touch you with the auras to hurt you, so if you're faster than them or can make sure they just don't touch, you'll be okay. She can also generate blinding light, but she used that to run away instead of fighting.

If she shows up, find me if you can, if you can't, use the information I've provided here to prepare and kill her. Don't give me any of that "value of life" shit, she'll not afford you the same courtesy- She tried to drop the fucking castle on our heads. We don't know shit about her oft-mentioned Master, except that she referred to it with masculine pronouns, and he knew we were coming and that we'd be powerful. I'd like to launch an investigation into this, but frankly, we have nowhere to even start besides 'doesn't leave tits hanging out like half the other Digimon I've seen'.

So, to recap: A crazy bitch with stupid amounts of power, working for someone else presumably even more powerful, used us to clear the castle so she could claim it for her unknown master. Whose idea was it exactly to clear the castle out, anyway? Because we sure as hell played into this asshole's plans. Lotusmon's goal was likely the Scope Virus that I mentioned before that drove Digimon mad. She called it "brutal". And the mindless, rampaging Digimon were infected. This begs the rather unfortunate question: Can the virus only be contracted from the source, or is it infectious from infected individuals? What methods does the virus use to propogate? Is there a way to cure it? If I were home, that would be easy, but here...

Everyone who did not go to the castle, keep a sharp eye out on everyone who did, myself included. If anyone starts losing their mind and looks like they were infected, we are going to need some sort of lockdown and quarantine procedure, though it may already be too late to do any good.

Now, everyone who was there can start contributing their own gathered information, and the rest of you lot can ask questions, this is now an open discussion on the recent events, please keep idiocy to a minimum.

I know fire-based weapons are easy enough to create. I just happen to prefer ice.

I suppose there are ways to test the idea, but we would need to contain an infected digimon to do so. And it would take a greater understanding of the workings of this world and its inhabitants than anyone here is likely to possess to do so in anything approaching an ethical manner.
betrayalcutsdeep: (That's going to take some thought.)

I suspect many people here would have some objections should you deliberately expose a healthy digimon to an infected one simply to test how contagious it was.

*Of course, if you want to do it anyway, he won't stop you. In fact, he might even help, if you can keep a secret.*
betrayalcutsdeep: (I wonder...)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-30 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that is the simplest option, but yes, the difficulty in finding a healthy digimon that it wouldn't be highly objectionable to use like that takes it out of the question. I'm sure there are other ways, though. It's just a matter of coming to understand this world a little better.
betrayalcutsdeep: (That's going to take some thought.)

I'm passingly familiar with computers, but the closest I've seen before this to solid data, or digitized matter as the case might be, is a person's consciousness transferred to a highly realistic digital setting. I'm afraid I can't be of any help with understanding direct interaction between matter and date.
betrayalcutsdeep: (Something doesn't seem right here.)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-30 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Not entirely, but it seems unlikely, given that Izzy claims this place is capable of returning us to the time we left from. At the very least, we have been genuinely displaced from our worlds before our consciousnesses were transferred.
betrayalcutsdeep: (I wonder...)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-30 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course, it's not entirely out of the question. But that would require a physical aspect to this as well and would raise quite a few questions.
betrayalcutsdeep: (That's going to take some thought.)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-30 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. The closest thing I can think of being possible without dismissing the idea that we are currently here in our own bodies is that this is some form of hyper-realistic hologram.

Admittedly, we are dealing with multiple worlds. It is conceivable that somewhere out there, or right here, the rules of reality aren't quite what we're used to.
betrayalcutsdeep: (Allow me to explain.)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-31 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not certain if my ethers not working is because this reality doesn't support the way they function or just because the nanomachines broke down like the rest of my technology. But I digress, the point is that it's possible that while direct matter and data interaction is an absurd idea in our worlds, it might be completely possible here.

After all, alchemy is an ancient notion that's been long since proven nothing more than superstitious nonsense where I come from.
betrayalcutsdeep: (I wonder...)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-31 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
So we shouldn't dismiss this possibility just because it seems impossible to the two of us.
betrayalcutsdeep: (I don't mind at all.)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-31 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Among other things. I also use them to enhance my natural abilities, generate and control electricity and heal. My girlfriend uses them to create flames, and I know of people who use them to inflict various physical ailments, weaken others' physical abilities or a number of other things useful to combat.
betrayalcutsdeep: (I wonder...)

What do you mean?

*Sorry, he doesn't really do RPGs.*

Unfortunately, they're more than a little beyond my capacity. While I have some technological skills, I'm no engineer.
betrayalcutsdeep: (Just leave it to me.)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-31 07:01 am (UTC)(link)
Not unless the technology level here is vastly superior to what I've seen. But I do see why you asked. Ethers would give us humans a fighting chance against digimon and even the playing field quite a bit. Not to mention vastly reducing recovery time for injuries.
betrayalcutsdeep: (Something doesn't seem right here.)

[personal profile] betrayalcutsdeep 2013-07-31 07:13 am (UTC)(link)
They do take some training to use properly, but a matter of months under an ether master would give most people the necessary skills for simple effects. It's almost a shame Sellers isn't here...he's an unpleasant and selfish man, but simply brilliant with technology.
