[A young girl comes into focus. She's staring straight into the camera and siting cross-legged on her bed. There's a poster of a guitar hanging behind her.]

Hyokomon, do I have to?

[Offscreen, Hyokomon can be heard saying Yes, you should do a proper introduction. Get to know some of the other Chosen Children. Maya wrinkles her nose briefly, and then smiles for the camera. It's a little over-the-top.]

Hi, my name is Maya Matlin and I'm stuck here like the rest of you. [She drops the smile.] There. Can we be done now?

[There's a sigh from Hyokomon and a I wish you wouldn't be so before the feed cuts out.]

[Before he turns on his D-Terminal, Cam does do well enough to wipe the stupid smile off his face, she's really adorable when she's exaggeratedly cheerily.]

You're doing great. Better than my first intro. [Ah, yes, awkwardly asking about.] Hyokomon's right, though, you need to meet more people. And that's coming from me.
