♔ 006; [video]
[The video switches back to reality with Waver looking pale and a little sick. He immediately cuts off the D-Terminal as Palmon can be heard asking him if he's going to faint.]

Hoi. Hoi hoi, kid! [ She snaps her fingers at the screen, wide eyes full of genuine concern. ]
Kid, you look like you're gonna puke. If you're gonna harf you might wanna relocate. Hey, you, hear me? Blink or croak or something if you understand the words comin' outta my mouth.
Hey can he hear me?
I think he disconnected.
Well reconnect it!
*sigh* Let me see it. Here...try that...
Hello hello? Earth to the kid with the name like delicious cake!
I don't think its working.

That was a pretty fast recovery, Waver...

I notice. [ Back to slavishly doing her hair. ]
You alright, kid? [ She tilts her head despite Kotemon's complaint. ]
And I'll have you know, red velvet cake is fuckin' delicious. You oughta be so lucky to be so awesome.

[he kind of gets it a lot]
You're doing that thing where you turn funny colors again...
Not now, Palmon!

You've got a sexy name. Waver Velvet. Wa~ver Ve~lvet. Vel~vet.
Yeah, with a face like yours and a name like that, girls are just gonna drop their panties.
Dude, K, why do people always think I'm makin' jokes?
Because you always are, ma'am.
Yeah but I mean...they're serious jokes.
no subject
[haha, red velvet.]
D-do you mind?! Just call me Waver!

Angry embarrassment is better than sad nostalgia, ain't it? [ She asks slyly. Always pissing people off for the greater good. ]
Waver is still a sexy name, so I'll concede and call you Wa~ver. I'm Roze. Like the flower. Red roses and red velvet cake. Sounds like destiny. [ Brow waggle. Just ignore the flat-eyed jelly Kotemon. ]

[Action]
[Hollyleaf has taken to not watching the majority of things, unless she recognizes the person, because seeing these harsh memories again... It would require something, some comfort. She's shocked, then, to see Waver again, shocked and worried.
In the back of her mind, she remembers that Waver said was to talk about Rider, his friend. In the back of her mind, she knows the outcome of this battle that she can't possibly understand.
Yet at the same time, she prays to StarClan that he wins; this already happened. Isn't that silly? She still hopes, and when the chains bind Rider she actually cries out.
She has not cried since being here, though she's seen others do it. It's foreign to her. Cats don't cry. But her eyes feel hot and her chest constricts, and if she hadn't known this could happen she'd think she was sick, as tears start to pool in them and slide down her face.
Immediately, she stands, and immediately she charges to Waver's room. She doesn't knock this time, she doesn't announce herself, she just opens the door and just...does the only thing she knows to.
She's a cat. Still, even in this body, she's a cat. It seems in moments like this, instincts are very prevalent. So Hollyleaf, swift and full of purpose, shoots forward and leans her body against his, nuzzling while trying to keep herself from crying, this foreign action that's taken over her completely.
She is a cat. And in times of distress, if another is hurting, the first instinct is physical comfort. So that's what she chooses to do.]
[Action]
[He really wasn't used to physical contact and wasn't sure he liked it. Rider had given his share of somewhat too harsh slaps on the back and the like, but that wasn't this. This was something mostly new and very strange, catching Waver entirely off guard. Waver made a vague but urgent gesture to Palmon that his partner had taken to mean 'get some tea from the marketplace please' as he tried to figure out how to respond.]
It's...it's okay. [In a hesitant motion, Waver's hand came to rest on Hollyleaf's head. She was a cat, right? That seemed more appropriate than anything else he could think of, not to mention the least awkward for him.] Really, it's... [He hesitated, biting his lower lip before continuing.]
...not alright at all, really, is it?
[Action]
[She's shaking her head, but it might feel -- and appear -- like more nuzzling. Right now, she's shaking, from the sobs. Her body's never had to put up with anything like them...her usual one or this one. She shakes it again, and again, no, that's not alright.]
I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry, I'm so sorry.
[She can't get anything else out.]
[Action]
[Waver didn't know how to deal with people (or cats in this case) on a good day. Crying ones were only more mystifying.]
It's not your fault.
[Action]
That doesn't matter! [Her ears are pressed against her head and her voice is hitched.]
It's still not... That's not fair, it's not!
[Even if she doesn't understand the battle, she can even tell that.]
[Action]
Whether it's fair or not doesn't really matter. No--I was lucky. Defeated Masters don't usually survive at all.

video; poke me on plurk if this isn't kosher with you
Naturally, she's familiar enough with him to recognize instantaneously that this is wrong. ]
Alexander the Great, huh?
video; always kosher bb
[Waver was very careful to bite back a what's it to you and responded as civilly as he could manage.]
You heard correctly.
video; kk cool wasn't sure if you wanted any video replies... but Rin is stubborn
[ Even if he's never told her that before, somehow she knows. Isn't that look of arrogance just something he wants to smack right off her face? ]
That other man--he broke a rule of some kind, didn't he?
video; s'all good with me u3u
[Frowning, Waver was faintly confused for a moment. Unless she meant...]
Do you mean all of Archer's swords? [Usually a Servant had one Noble Phantasm, maybe two and very rarely three. Archer, however....every sword he fired like missiles was a Noble Phantasm in its own right, and that was unheard of.]
video;
[ She might not show it often, but here she draws out the most obvious contradiction of the scene she just witnessed. ]
I recognized some of those weapons from other legends. What kind of man is capable of holding swords from different points of history and the world?
video;
[Waver pressed a hand to his forehead, appearing at once exhausted and in deep thought.]
...He had to have been Gilgamesh. There's no other option--not with that weapon he used. The anti-world Noble Phantasm that destroyed Ionian Hetairoi.

I doubt he'd want to finish any other way.
[Though the golden man's weapon's names... sound familiar. Yu can't put his finger on it yet though]
