Greetings, Citizens of Terminal Tokyo! This is your local Trailmon Job Agency doing its monthly rounds! We've a lot of jobs to fill and more people than normal. Hope none o' you youngins were out here for a vacation! Man-- I remember the good old days of running free, yes ma'am. Now my gears are all rustin' and it's a hard to get on chuggin'-- but never you mind all that!

Since there's a lot of new folk around here I best get'ta explaining, yeah? Beginning of the month or so we post a bunch of jobs. We Trailmon spend a while setting 'em all up nice and organized for you lot.

All ya gotta do is sign up to do it. Remember there's limited spaces for each, so don't be riding the slow'mon about it!

[[OOC MECHANICS: This is how it will work (we'll be doing it similar to gargleblasted). Each number needed will be listed and it's first come first serve. Each character is allowed ONE (1) job, so please don't go signing up for more than that.

This is where all interactions will be taking place. There is a section for each job, and you will be allowed to set up further things as you like in terms of dates and times and who you will talk to.]]

[Wanting to help out in any way he can, or at least in ways he knows he can, Hayden takes a job helping to keep the city clean and everything in order. Monodramon is terribly grouchy about this choice. He knows their time could be better spent, and he's not shy about saying so.]

I can't believe we're doing this. You really know how to waste time, Hayden.

It's not a waste of time. We're still going to get plenty of training done, believe me. Unless you're lazy?

[Marley's enjoyed being a server for the Burgermon Cafe, and having gotten use to how things run there, she's decided to step it up a notch. Anyone who decides to stop by on the days she's working will find Marley taking orders and handing out food...

[After days and days of begging, Fearless finally managed to convince Hiccup to come visit the Cafe for a bite to eat. "Come ooon, I hear Marley's workin' there!" was his most recent excuse, beyond complaining that if he didn't eat soon he'd starve to death. Hiccup had eaten hamburgers once or twice while living here, so it wasn't that he didn't like them- it was just that he didn't have a whole lot of money to spend at the moment, considering he missed so many days of work during the time he got separated from town.

When the pair arrive they are both surprised by Marley's skating orders out to the customers.]

[Sometimes, Hiccup's convinced Fearless legitimately forgets he's missing a foot.]

[Donnie didn't get out much, preferring to just hang at home and work on his trinkets. But he had to make a desperate run out to get oil for his latest creation, which wasn;t quite done yet but getting there. After listening to Kamemon whine about dying of starvation, Donnie decided to stop at the first place that he saw/ Which was the Burgermon Cafe]

Okay, we'll go in here for a few minutes, but eat quick. I really want to ge tthe patrol buggy filled up so that I can test it.

[And whatever he was going to say was lost once he saw Marley... on roller skates. Dang, he was blushing again, but she looked kinda cute...]

[Shiki had picked the waitressing job on a whim, needing something to do besides endlessly churn out crafts that she didn't really have any use for. It didn't exactly suit her, but she looked cute in the uniform and she was determined to make it work - even though she'd opted out of the roller skates.

Look, tempting injury and/or death just isn't Shiki's style.]

Burgermon Cafe--COOK

[Kovu really can't be sure why he agreed to take a job as a cook when he's only known what cooking is for a couple months. But between Marley and Lopmon the pestering got on his nerves so much that he applied anyway.

The job's not so bad, even though all this stuff humans call "food" smells terrible. Lopmon's been helping out, and since pretty much everything is okay with being on a timer all the Digimon has needed to do is read off what Kovu needs to make. The food that doesn't have timers smells really different when it's cooked right, so that's not too hard for Kovu either. Good thing they decided to keep him away from any of the open flames, though.

He takes his breaks getting some food and sitting in the cafe, hoping he'll eventually find something that doesn't taste as bad as it looks.]

[To be honest, the main reason Sonata picked up this job was because of the discovery that the karaoke machines had AKB songs among their playlists. The 77th generation kenkyuusei were always diligent about practicing when they could, since to become a successor, you had to work hard, but really, this is just even more of an excuse for Sonata to perform without Penguinmon lecturing her about disturbing the peace or whatever.

Because she left him back at the apartment.

So, when Sonata has an opportunity, she can be found claiming one of the rooms for herself. Right now, she's singing Heart Gata Virus]

[Salamon had suggested Mami sign up for a job, if only to get her out there and meeting other people- she seemed so lonely to the small Digimon! Somewhere along that line, Mami had, at Salamon's suggestion, signed up to help teach the baby Digimon? Mami had been a mentor back home, right? Salamon didn't know all the details, but maybe Mami could mentor these baby Digimon, too!

... Still, Mami has her doubts, but she won't express them outloud. She's supposed to be the mentorly big-sis figure, after all.]

Frigimon's Ice Cream Shoppe

[If there was one thing Wheeljack liked doing in his new human form, it was eating. So getting a job not only was a way to make money, but it meant that you could eat on the job and totally not get called out on it.

Or rather, that's what he thought. Frigimon more-than-likely didn't share that viewpoint, and probably everyone else that worked there, but if the customers were leaving leftovers, he was just putting the rest to good use, you know? No wasting food.

Besides, it was already paid for.

Most of the time, Wheeljack's either helping out a customer (which is quite a sight-- a battle-scarred middle aged man in an apron serving ice cream) or leaning over the counter, casually eating a small bowl of the stuff. You is usually with him, draped across his shoulders like some kind of Digimon scarf. Usually napping or eating some herself. Girl was getting quite the appetite. And she had one to start.

[If you happen to walk into the ice cream shop on a day Arcee's working, you'll be pleased to know her habit of yelling at customers has dwindled down some. No, she still gets mad at people who refuse to finish their frozen treats, but lately she's just been too tired to care. It wouldn't be out of the question to find her half asleep at the counter.

It's not laziness, honest. She's just been training. A lot. And not just her Digimon, oh no, her schedule lately was changed to include personal training for herself. Arcee has always been a muscular lady, and as such strong by human standards. But...human standards aren't Cybertronian standards and she's been craving more.

As one can guess where I'm going with this, she's been pushing herself too hard. Thankfully it isn't killing her work too much, she still has Sprocket to cover for her when she falls. ...Not literally, of course. I said she's only half asleep, she hasn't completely lost it yet.]

[Waver kept mostly to himself as he worked on shelving a stack of books. Every so often he would open one and flip through it before turning to write something in a notebook; it seemed like he was taking notes on the languages they were written in as he worked.]

[His Japanese was barely at a level that could be called 'basic', and his understanding of Digicode was even worse. But if there was one thing Waver Velvet believed, it was that anything worth learning could be done through meticulous research. Libraries were the natural habitat of any student, and though he was working hard with both his notes and the actual librarian job Waver actually seemed to be quite content.]

[ It didn't take long very long at all to figure out where exactly it was that Waver's picked a job up. Naturally, she did what any good pain in the ass would do.

Got hired to work there as well.

Work is an understatement. She's a lot better at kicking out people who are loud and forcing others to do all the manual labor. ]

[Being stationed at the library accrued several advantages that came with the location. Namely access to significant amounts of the data the city had to offer. At least, in theory.]

[He'd arrived particularly early to pick through one of the books himself before beginning in the morning, only to find that most of them were full of runes he could not read(see: Japanese script). The first shock came at the fact that it wasn't automatically translated as he expected as a robot. It was almost like suddenly finding yourself unable to see a certain color.]

[Although he was a little dismayed, he figured that deciphering them would come with time, and kept a little pile of the books at a desk, next to Syakomon, who seemed content at flipping through and looking for pictures. Among them included a few Cookbooks and an English to Japanese dictionary - one of the books he could find with the human script he could understand. He had time to memorize a few of the symbols for the purpose of organizing the returned books before opening the building and beginning their day.]
