I see the city is still, as always, in a deplorable, distaste, and disheartening state of disrepair.  This is why we can't have grandoise things.

Elec don't be mean!

[The picture flicks on, greeting everyone with a view of (1) Scott Pilgrim standing in the middle of an apartment. He's holding a piece of paper, but it's not quite possible to tell what's on it. Someone starts speaking from behind the camera.]

This is my partner, Scott Pilgrim. Wave to the nice people, Scott [Scott waves, as instructed. He looks kind of confused about why he's being made to do this.] He's looking for a girl named Ramona Flowers.

She has hair like this. [Scott holds up the paper he's holding, which is a terrible drawing.] It was green the last time I saw it, but she changes it every week and a half.

Okay. Be quiet now, Scott. [Scott frowns, letting the drawing drop back to his side again.] If you have any information about Ramona Flowers, we'd both appreciate it if you'd tell us.

[The feed cuts.]

[A D-Terminal turns on and shows a new face with a Lucemon hanging onto his shoulders, peeking over to see what he's doing.]

I was going to say "take me to your leader," but Lucy here said that's a no go.

I would prefer it if you didn't call me that.

...And the name's still a work in progress, but I think we'll settle on something soon enough. When I heard this was a digital world, I was expecting more Pac Man and less kid's cartoon slash Godzilla movie. Not that it's a letdown or anything, but I'm just saying. Definitely unexpected. And pretty cool. We definitely don't have anything this advanced at home.
