[Sometimes you just shouldn't question things, and now was one of those moments. The fact that Wheeljack was back in his old body--here--was enough to put him in the best mood he's been in since he got here. Obviously. Human bodies are far inferior to this.
There's no video feed for this one--he's got better things to do than to talk.
What is this, you may ask? He's driving through the town and to the outskirts, just getting used to transforming again, from car to robot mode. Seriously, after almost a year of being deprived of this, could you really blame him? It was his one freedom he had.
And boy was it liberating.
If you happen to see him speeding around, well...feel free to flag him down. Otherwise, You's got the D-Terminal at the moment, looking rather worn out from trying to keep up. It's as if she's trying to showcase Wheeljack being happy to the public. Because let's face it, that doesn't happen often.]
He's....pretty fast....
Well... I guess it's nice to finally have conclusive proof that a lot of the people here that were other things before this place weren't delusional. Not that I doubted it with how some of you acted.

(The screen flashed on to show Rainbow, who was still a pony, but her expression was of someone who's entire world had just come crashing down around her. She was holding onto a ring that appeared to resemble the shape of a star.
Specifically...a Cutie Mark.)
...Twilight's gone. Don't know exactly when it happened, but I think it was sometime last night that she was taken back to Ponyville. I...I don't think it's like what happened to Fluttershy...
I know other people knew her who weren't from our world, and for anyone who took time to know her...to know the mare I loved...thanks. You earned a true friend in Twilight.
(It's quick, but Rainbow does offer a small smile of gratitude before the screen goes black.)
I... don't really know how to put this lightly, so I'll just come out and say it. Mikey's gone. He's back home in our world. I just... found out last night and I know that he has friends here, so... as his brother I felt like I should tell all of you guys. And umm... thanks, for being his friend, I knwo that he really liked everyone, so... I guess that's it
( Private to Leatherhead )
[And, yet again, he's having to ask his partners to turn the device on for him. A Keramon and a BlackAgumon both clutter up the screen until they realize it's on, and then pull back, looking upward.]
[He's... tall, about 17 feet. Lanky. There's more leg to him than almost anything. One side of his face is almost completely covered by what looks like a robotic eyepatch. He's holding one arm to his chest, looking down at a webwork of fine cracks across the plating. His fingers flex, experimentally.]
It never mattered before, but now -- [Wow, that sure is Kagerou's voice.] -- it's become necessary.
...
Gasoline. Is there any gasoline here, in this town?
[There's a view of Terri, still on the ship. She looks especially worried, her ears esp. droopy]
Uhm... I saw a lot of people turned into other things back in HospiTown, right? Well... I can't find Neku.
He didn't go home! His D-T account is still fine! And.... I just know, damn it!
HE DIDN'T FALL OVERBOARD, I WOULDA SEEN HIM!
[A voice over the edge of the ship. Psycho is still grounded from the boat]
So uh... I was wondering if maybe he poofed back over the- woah!
[The D-T flips out of her paws, sending the view flying]
What the-?!

[ when the feed kicks on, it's from on top of one of the town's buildings. though only his back can be seen by the screen, Vergil's still clad in blue, though shape different. his wings stretch, as if attempting to reach their full wingspan. Tsukaimon is at his side, leaving Labra in charge of the recording... ]
Here, we witness the rare, but not so elusive half demon spreading his majestic wings for the first time in -
Labramon.
[ the voice, though hollow and distorted, leaves no room for question and the digimon shrinks back. ]
It doesn't bother you, though, not being able to change back?
[ There's a glance back. a pause... and then he glances forward again before taking off. Tsuakimon tsks and shakes her head. ]
That would obviously be a no. [ then she, too, takes off after the their partner. Labramon sighs, turning to look at the screen. ]
What am I doing wrong here? How can I get him to like me... Or, you know, convince him that being human isn't all THAT bad?

Don't know what the glitch is this time, but I hope it sticks around. I love being a lion again.
Anyway, wanted to say thanks to all you guys who talked to me to other day, even if it was only to get Lopmon to quit bugging you.
[He sure seems like he's in a way better mood than he was when Lopmon was putting him up for adoption before.]
In an hour, when he finds himself sitting in the car form of his partner, playing session after session of video game inside his cabin, that wonder becomes joy. In three hours, when Vanguard goes to tell off some insolent digimon on Bee's behalf but Bumblebee speaks up on his own first, gently resolving the situation with his own voicebox. All he feels is confusion. Six hours later, when Vanguard has to step outside and get his feet on steady ground after one of Bumblebee's races, it's irritation. The final straw happens when Vanguard finds himself held in the giant, protective metal hand of his robot partner, narrowly injured from a reckless Chosen. Saved. Protected. Lovingly guarded.
Then... it's just anger and resentment.
He leaves Bumblebee to talk with companions just beyond the hole in their apartment (hastily covered by the staff with a sheet of plastic). Bee doesn't need Vanguard to help translate his feelings to the friends he encounters outside. He laughs, and dances and transforms just fine on his own.
So the digimon retreats to their room just a few paces away. It takes ten minutes for it all to boil over. In the back of his mind, he knows he's going to calm down and regret this later but... he's not thinking about that at the time. He angrily jabs an anonymous message into the D-terminal.]

All you Chosen. You think you're so impressive.
You could hardly take care of yourselves when you got here. You couldn't figure out how to eat, sleep or walk. Some of you couldn't even speak. We chased off digimon three times our size to keep you alive. We kept you safe on the journey down to HospiTown.
We did everything we were supposed to. We're your digimon. We were made to meet you and fix this world together.
So much for partners.
You can take your real forms and just
Just go home. We didn't need you either.
[The moment he presses send, he experiences a moment of hesitation. Of something beyond anger. Regret? He crosses his arms and tries not to think about it.]
[ooc: Vanguard (Coronamon) will respond to text anonymously while Bumblebee will react to action outside the hospital.]

Can we talk?
