*Jin is sitting in the library, with the D-Terminal set on the opposite side of a book from him. Several more are piled on the table, all written in Japanese. Jin's in the process of turning a page when he turns on the video.*

I see several people have been having...difficulties with their partners' forms lately. It's a little curious...Sorcermon says it isn't normal, so I have to wonder what the cause is. If anyone has any theories, I would love to discuss them.

But that's not my only reason for being here right now. Someone brought up the fact that the books here are mostly in Japanese and not everyone could read them. It's a shame to leave books like this out of reach, so I'm going to make an offer. I'm willing to give people Japanese lessons in exchange for stories from your home worlds. They don't have to be especially exciting, but I want to know about the places people come from. I consider research a bit of a hobby, you see, so I'm intrigued by the idea of all these parallel universes.

*Sorcermon walks into the frame behind him, holding a book written in digicode against his chest.*

And I'm willing to offer lessons in this world's script for the same price. But if you'd rather not talk about it, we would accept payment in bits as well.

If you're interested, you can either reply here or contact me personally later. But regardless of how you get in touch, I won't share any of the stories you tell without permission. Oh, and in case you missed Shepards' introduction of me the other day, I'm Commander Jin Uzuki. It's a pleasure to meet all you new arrivals.
[ After a particularly long day in which Koushirou's attention was surprisingly distracted from the network, Kabuterimon is flying Koushirou back to their place. Koushirou has taken out his D-Terminal, glad to finally be able to check the network since the previous evening. When suddenly -- Kabuterimon's sudden speaking distracts him, and he accidentally hits the button to record video. ]

Koushirou-han, I'm feeling strange...

Huh? What's wrong, Kabuterimon--?

[ Koushirou is once again distracted from his D-Terminal now, not noticing it's recording. Before Kabuterimon can answer, he quite suddenly shifts into his baby form known as Pabumon. There's no warning at all, and now Koushirou is falling -- ]

Waugh! Pabumon! [ he worriedly reaches out with his free hand, both trying to grab at his nearby partner and not drop his D-Terminal, and his fingertips brush against Pabumon when suddenly -- ]

Koushirou-han!

[ Tentomon is back now, at least, and he instantly grabs Koushirou by the leg. He struggles to hold Koushirou up, but at least Koushirou isn't falling anymore. ]

What happened?! [ Koushirou sounds quite breathless and very surprised; considering what just happened. ]

I'm not sure, but I wasn't planning on reverting to my Baby level... or Tentomon! At least, not until I got you back home safely.

At least you caught me in time... [ he heaves a sigh of relief before his brows furrow in confusion. ] Are you hungry?

I don't think so... I ate before we left, remember?

[ a sigh. ] Maybe I should walk instead...

Okay, but after I drop you off first--! [ Tentomon now carries him over to a nearby field and hovers closer towards the ground before letting Koushirou go, and they tumble safely into the grass. Koushirou stands up now, brushing off the grass that got on his clothes with his free hand. ]

Something strange must be happening... I'll check the network now. [ he murmurs to himself just as the video feed shuts off. ]

[With the chaos of the past two days now over, Namine looks a little exhausted sitting on the bed in her room. Lunamon changed forms so much and so rapidly that the girl was getting quite worried over her Digimon's health.

Right now though, said Digimon, in Moonmon form, is snoozing on Namine's lap and half visible to the camera. Every once and while, Namine will pet her, making sure she's comfortable.]

Hello. I hope all the Digimon are... [Normal? No, that's probably not the right word for it.] --more stable now. It wasn't quite worrying to see so many changes.

[But that's not why she's making a post. Taking a minute to compose herself, she clears her throat and takes a deep breath.] A-actually, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in... in a project of sorts.

A lot of us have gone through the available libraries here, looking for extra information. It doesn't seem like there's a lot, and while the original Chosen that are here have helped us a lot, there's still a lot of unanswered questions. And now, there's more people arriving again.

...With some many different Digimon and so many new things to learn, wouldn't it be best to try and learn what we can from each other? [No, that's not wording it correctly. She pauses and thinks about her next words carefully.] I only mean... people can ask questions on the network about things, but not everyone has dealt with technology like this. And the Digivices only seem to work when the Digimon is in front of you.

...What I mean to say is... maybe we could consolidate all the information we've learned about this place and the Digimon. The different forms they can take, different types... If we put it all together, and somehow make it available to anyone anytime in a basic form, it could be... very helpful. Like a book.

[Her doubts are sinking in again, and it's noticeable by the expression on her face. This could be silly, and hell, if they do make a book or something, it would require a lot of effort and supplies.]

Of course, this is only a suggestion...

-like this!

[The voice that pops up sounds like a little kid, but the video view is mostly blacked out by what appears to be a paw.]

Why can't I just use text?

[The second voice is a teenage boy, honestly confused over why he can't just make this whole thing that much simpler by sticking to text.]

Because this way's more polite of course, how will you make friends if they can't see you? - Hey, I've made lots of friends online and they never saw me. You don't need to see each other to make friends you know, it's kinda just a bonus. - Exactly! It's a bonus, and we're using it to get bonus friends!

[John laughs, he totally can't argue with that.]

Then maybe you should take your paw off the camera, that might help. - Oops...Cut to save space )

[The D-Terminal's been given over to the Digimon in the room, a rather eager looking Hyokomon.]

Hello Digidestined and Digimon alike. My name is Hyokomon, and this is my partner- [Hyokomon hold out his wing in the direction of the guy in the armor, waiting on his introduction. And he waits for a while. The armor doesn't even budge.] My apologies, my partner must not like speaking on a recording. This is my partner Mr. Grif. We are very pleased to meet all of you and we look forward to protecting this world alongside you. There will be many dangers, but I know we will grow stronger with each trial. [He bows to the camera.]

[You might jump if you finally notice that the guy in the armor actually moves.]

Oh, you're done?

[Pindrop.] Y-you weren't listening?!

Nope. I kindof nodded off at the start. You said your name was Hy-something or other?

It's Hyokomon Mr. Grif! We've been over this!

No one likes a kissass.

I wasn't- [He's trying so hard to compose himself.] I was trying to introduce us to our future commerads. Why weren't you paying attention?

Well, I started out actually paying attention, but then I figured what's the point of learning if I'm just going to wake up from this candy-coated nightmare fuel. Since sleeping in a dream is the best way to wake up from it, I might as well get a head start.

I keep telling you this isn't a  dream! You really are-

In the Digital World. Yeah yeah and talking chickens with swords really do exist. And this isn't from eating that five year old snack cake that was in the bottom of my luggage. [Hyokomon just sighs in defeat.] So are we done here, or should I let you make another rousing speech? [And Hyokomon shakes his head.] Good. Well, back to my nap.

[The feed just cuts there. The bird can't take the humiliation.]

Haisai, everyone! Hibiki Ganaha, Okinawan idol here!

[She’s grinning pretty wide. After the whole File Island mess, she’s finally feeling 200% good.]

Hehe, after my last two failures, I finally get to make a message that isn’t an accident or Psychetaro gettin’ in the way. I’ve got a big question for all of ya today! Iori, Miki, and I are lookin’ for a dance studio or somethin’ big we can use for practice! We move around a lot, so it just has to be big and private. See, for stuff like this...

[The idol performs a few dance moves...without music or singing, but it’s just a brief demonstration anyways.]

It’s really important, so if ya know somewhere, let me know, okay? And if ya like to sing, I’ve been workin’ at a karaoke place! We’re open late, so definitely come check it out. There’s a lot of Digimon...but even if you’ve never done it before, it’s a lot of fun! And if you don’t know how to, I’ll teach ya personally! Nankurunaisa! Hehe, lessons from an idol...that’s a great deal, right?

...Oh! And to all the Digimon I've met so far, how're ya doin'? It's been kinda rough so far, but I'm not gonna forget you! I guess that's it for now...let me know as soon as you can about a place to practice, alright? Bye-bye!

[And Psychetaro even manages to turn the film off on time. Perfect shooting get!]

[It's Lopmon, and he's looking all right...for the most part. He seems a little tired though, as he yawns and rubs his eyes.]

So...I think I'm okay now. Whatever was making me changed has stopped. It was really weird though.

[He yawns again.]

It's good it stopped too, 'specially now. Dunno how bad it would've been if I kept changing in front of the baby Digimon...Didn't wanna spook 'em more...

By the way...takin' care of babies is hard.

[Just as he says that, the sound of crying babies fills the air. He sighs, and moves to turn off the D-Terminal...except he doesn't quite manage it, as tired as he is. And he doesn't close the terminal completely either, so while the screen has no image, the surrounding noises are perfectly audible.

And for a while, it's hard to hear anything else besides the sound of fussing and crying baby Digimon. But then a gentle sound manages to break through the commotion. It's soft, but steadily grows louder as the babies start to quiet down. And soon, anyone who's listening will manage to make out Fluttershy's voice, as she sings a little lullaby to the babies.]

Hush now, quiet now, it's time to lay your sleepy head
Hush now, quiet now, it's time to go to bed...

[The soothing song eventually does its trick, lulling the Digimon to sleep...including Lopmon, who can be heard snoring into the D-Terminal nearby.]

[When the D-Terminal turns on, all that shows up is the face of a Keramon chewing on something long, black, and appearing to be made out of leather. It attempts to say something, but since it has something in its mouth, whatever words it says is mumbled and cannot be understood. Thankfully, there's someone else there.]

Keramon, it is rude to speak with your mouth full. Please try again when you're done.

[It drops whatever it was chewing on and looks past the screen apologetically.]

Sorry, captain. Was tryin' to tell ya that I got it workin' for ya.

Ah, I see. Thank you, Keramon.

[The D-Terminal is turned around to reveal Aizen kneeling on the ground in front of Keramon wearing a rather strange outfit and showing that the thing Keramon was chewing was in fact Aizen's left hand.]

My name is Sousuke Aizen and I am in need of some assistance. Keramon and I have been attempting to remove the bindings on me ourselves without success, so if anyone could lend us some sort of cutting implement, it would be appreciated. I would also like to ask if anyone knows where I could get a pair of glasses. Mine were broken and I would like to have them replaced as soon as possible.

[As the video turns on the scene is dark. Some may recognize it as the observation deck of Tokyo Tower. A long legged pale girl is admiring the view while a gravely voice over starts up.]

She was as pale as a drop of moonlight come to life and given legs that just wouldn't quit. A shock of blinding pink hair draws the eyes immediately upwards and the way she's styled it brings to mind thoughts of witches and all sorts of wicked beast women of the night.

[The girl in question stiffens and gives the camera a very dry unappreciative look]

Her eyes were the same shade as her hair with slits like a tailmon for pupils. Her stare was as cold as a winter night when you're alone with your thoughts and not enough bits to buy a bottle of liquid heat to fend off either of them.

[Her stare turns to puzzlement before the voice clarifies]

Booze, to fend off your thoughts and the chill.

No I got that you little mutant. What are you doing?

Voice over. All the great stories have a gritty voice over to them.

Wait are you recording me with that thing?

Smile for the camera doll face~

[Her lips purse to a sharp frown and she storms over while he tries to fly backwards while still filming]

With fire in her eyes the chill from her stare is melted away leaving hissing steam on my skin. I can see her knuckles somehow turning even whiter then they already were as she tries to judge if it would be easier to slap me into silence or-

[He doesn't get to finish that thought because she swings her foot up with surprising speed and the video cuts out]

I'd greatly prefer not to be here right now, but Kokuwamon has told me that I should formally introduce myself.

My name is William Flemming. I was brought here quite against my will--

[At that, Kokuwamon appears on screen behind him, waggling a robotic hand.]

That's not very nice! You shouldn't sound so mean!

Right. Fine. I was given that letter, but I would like to know what it all means. If anyone can tell me I would appreciate it.

[The screen fizzles out a bit before it shows the park. Kamemon, as always, has his face in the screen. Donnie can be seen in the background reading under a tree, his staff leaning against it.]

Howdy folks! Just wanted to see how things are after that whole 'random digivolving incident. It was kind of weird... but ah well!

Also got some good news for anyone who knows us, Donnie is 100% recovered! It would have happened sooner if he wasn't stubborn and stayed in bed like he was supposed to.

[Looks up] For the hundredth time, I wasn't going to stay in a bed all day Kamemon.

Which is why it took you so long to recover. [Turns back to screen] So anyways, Donnie is cured and is helping with re-building. He's been driving me to exhaustion. He's a horrible partner, what kind of sick person over-works a helpless, innocent Digimon like me?

Innocent? More like nuisance

See what I mean? He's a big, dumb jerk. Humans, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em

[Donnie rolls his eyes and resumes reading in the background.]
