There's something I'm trying to figure out.

[A slightly bruised but quickly recovering Waver could be found on the network today. His right hand was raised to his head thoughtfully, displaying the mostly faded remnants of red markings that were once burned into the back of it.]

Could there really be something that passes for magecraft in this world? Not that I'm complaining, considering Palmon's second form is perfect for me, but I'm just wondering about the implications.

If there's a species of Digimon clearly classified as some sort of magus, just what qualifies as the 'magic' they're using? Some lines of code or circuitry? And if that's the case, could it be something people like us could work on utilizing?

...then again, maybe there's not much point in me considering this. [Waver sighed, shaking his head.] I don't know much about computers or programming, so I guess even if it was possible, I wouldn't be the one to figure it out.

[Someone really misses his magecraft, apparently.]

[At first, there's nothing but a big closeup of Meruru's face, before she blinks and pulls back, grinning.]

Ahaha... yeah! I guess it really is. [She's still figuring out how some of this technology works, but at least Palmon's there to help.]

Anyways, hi, everyone! My name's Meruru, or I guess it's technically Merurulince Rede Arls... but it's such a mouthful, and everyone calls me Meruru! I'm the princess of Arls back home, but I'm also an adventurer and alchemist; it's my goal to make Arls a better place to live.

[Ah, whoops, she started to ramble a bit there. Meruru lets out a tiny nervous laugh, but grins again.]

I guess what I'm really trying to say is... it's nice to meet everyone! I hope I can make a lot of friends here. [She's used to making friends with everyone back home, after all, so why not here as well?]

[The video starts from a low angle, pointed at a short man with green hair. He is sitting on a bench with a guitar on his lap and plucking at the strings before adjusting the sound every few minutes. He doesn't seem to realize he's being filmed and the music stores he is apparently in is trashed beyond belief. Perry sighs, strumming it a few more times and then looks up when he feels he is being watched. He frowns at the camera. It's very clear he is asking his recorder what he thinks he is doing. The recording digimon speaks in a British accent.]

I just thought everyone would like to know how you were helping out after that dreadful attack.

[Perry rolls his eyes and returns to his tuning of the guitar. Bartholomew sighs and turns the video screen to himself. The Tapirmon, for those who haven't seen Perry's partner before, is wearing a fedora.]

Greetings! Perry and I will be at the music shop for awhile. We...sort of made a mess of things during all the ruckus with the digimon attack. Perry didn't want to leave it trashed so we're fixing things up.

[He leans in close.]

Most of you might not know it...but Perry can actually play most of the instruments here. I've been watching him tune them and then play little pieces of music. It's really amazing all the things he can do, honestly.
