Mike to Burners, if any of you are here we need to regroup, fast. Not that I can see any landmarks or... well, anything, but we can figure something out.
[He sighs and changes to vaguely amused, because if this is a Kane thing then losing his cool is would be playing right into his hands.]
So, uh... everyone else... what's up with the "no lights" thing you've got going on here? I know I live underground, but I'm not actually a bat. It's gotta be pretty hard to forget to light up an entire city. Or, you know, the sun. From the sound of it, this isn't normal, but if the fighting monsters are normal here then I'm really not sure what to think!
[There's a rustling of clothes as his Patamon frees itself from inside his jacket where it's been hanging out, not that anyone can see that.]
Of course digimon are normal, Mike! You're the one who's not normal here!
...You know what, I can't really argue with you that one. Sorry, buddy.
Well... apology accepted, I guess. But don't do it again!
[There's a rustling as Patamon moves back into his jacket, and Mike chuckles a little.]
Anyway, my name is Mike Chilton, and if anyone has a flashlight or something I could use, that'd be great.
What do you mean 'call up anyone I know'?
[A Kudamon shows up, reaching out to bring the device up to eye level.]
You can use this thing, and it will show video.. um images, of others, or maybe just the sound from them. Sometimes there are others here who might know you.
I am more concerned with getting home, I need to be with my family. I should be there for Simba, and Kiara, and for Kovu.
I'm sorry Nala, you can't go home yet, once everything is fixed we will be able to send people home, but until then you are stuck here.
[She doesn't seem happy with the answer but after a few moments she sighs.]
Alright strange one, I have little other choice than to believe you. Can you show me how this works?
Yes, of course I will. Oh... it's already on. Hello, is there anyone out there who knows a lioness named Nala? She is here now and could probably use someone familiar to help her adjust if there is anyone available. [Kudamon waved slightly at the camera before turning back to Nala and pointing to one of the buttons.] You can turn it off by pressing this button.
