[ The D-terminal is being held rather shakily. The room looks rather familiar, in fact it's actually taking place in the library. There was a giant pile of books sitting on the table, papers strewn about, and notebooks opened up to random pages. The owner of the D-terminal is not actually the voice that appears. ]

Hello there, Chosen ones. Today we are investigating a rare and temperamental Grumpymon in one of his natural habitats away from home. As you can see by the paper all around and the books piled up, this Grumpymon is hard at work. Lets see what he is doing.

[ Kudamon shakily moves the video to show a closer look at some of the papers. Like this interesting paper right here. Theres lots of things scribbled down on other papers. Lots of sticky notes, high-liters, and colorful tabs sticking out of books to keep his place in them. ]

As you can see, the Grumpymon is doing a lot of research for what I am not certain. He can be a pretty mysterious--

Kudamon what are you doing?

[ The video shifts around showing a Pawnchessmon sitting across from the table reading his own book. Then it shifts up to show Squall standing there with a raised eyebrow and his hand on his hip. ]

Who me? O-oh nothing. I'm just looking at your D-terminal....

[ Squall rolls his eyes and grabs the D-T and turns it off. ]

[Kovu's looking maybe a tiny bit exasperated, or at least annoyed and slightly confused, as the feed comes on. His partners don't seem to be around, but if you're listening closely there are some thumps in the background that might be pillows smacking into things.]

...Okay, what is this "Christmas" thing everyone keeps talking about? And what's "snow"? I tried asking Beastboy but he won't tell me anything.

[This video broadcast is brought to you by Shaky Cam™ because, really, whoever's handling the D-Terminal could really stand to buy a tripod. The image starts off with a lopsided view of the floor, then some sheets dangling over the edge of a bed before finally showing a teenage boy from behind, back bent and arms crossed. You'd swear he's prematurely grey with his silver hair.

The camera lingers on him for a few seconds, with some quiet mumbles from the camera 'mon in question before the boy looks over his shoulder and rolls his eyes.]

Man, why do I even need to use this thing? Not like I've got anyone to talk to.

But you could! Um... if you want to, anyway. Wouldn't it be nice to make more friends?

[He shrugs, shifting to face the screen.]

But over some silly computer? If I really wanted to go out and meet people, I'd do it myself.

But what about all those questions you had, Rik--

[The Replica grimaces, pulling his eyes away from the Digimon. For a brief moment, the camera turns to reveal the face of a Kotemon and, while her mask hides her face in shadow, there's a sorry look in her eyes. When she speaks again, it's at a low whisper.]

Pst. I think there's something wrong with my partner because he's really grumpy and he's been saying all kinds of stuff about being fake and his name not really being his name. What's up with that? I know there's bunches of other Kotemon, and we all have the same name and face. Are people not supposed to be like that? I guess that makes sense, since most humans aren't Rikus. That'd be really strange!

[The Replica groans.] Okay, fine, you win. No need to start gossiping about me; I'll talk.

Wow! I didn't think that'd work! [But soon the D-Terminal's passed to its rightful owner, and the image finally stabilizes. Cue a close-up of one exasperated teen.]

You know, I must've missed the memo because last I checked, the dead don't come back that easily. Is that normal here? And this whole "Chosen Children" thing... have they ever gotten mixed up before?

[There, he asked some questions. Now it's just a matter of seeing if it was worth it.]

[Tetsushi is waving at the camera. The down town streets can be seen in the background.]

[Saori is sitting on a bed with Guren, now back as an Elecmon, sitting on her lap. There's a Gaomon who's also taking a peek at the D-Terminal from behind Saori. To those who knew about her injuries from before, they could sigh in relief knowing the eyepatch is off and her eye healed just fine.]

Well this has been a very interesting month, hasn't it? I'm sorry if I worried you by getting myself injured and then disappearing like that. I'm no therapist or anything of that sort, but if anyone would like to just talk or want some comfort food, please don't hesitate to hit me up.

On a lighter note, let me introduce my second partner, Kiyomi. She's a bit shy, but she helped Guren and I a lot in that last fight. I'm rather proud of her.

Yeah, we made one hell of a combo out there! We showed him!

[Their compliments just made the poor Gaomon duck behind her. Saori looks over her shoulder and just smiles before returning her attention to the D-terminal.]

One last note, I'm going to be temporarily living with Laguna. Oh and he's grounded by the way for being a reckless idiot before I yelled at him. Fluttershy, Miwako, I'll still keep dropping by to check up on you two. I'm not that easy to get rid of.

[The video switches on to show Nala in her shared apartment with her Kudomon on one side and her new partner, a lopmon, on the other.]
