[While Wally's off on his date with Rise, Elecmon is in charge of the D-Terminal. Wally didn't want to be bothered with it, so here's Elecmon with some very important questions.]

Does anyone know how to get a girlfriend? Wally says I should get one, but I don't know how. What do you even do with one? Is it expensive? Wally doesn't have anymore bits...

But he really wants me to get one! I think he'll like me more if I do and I'd really like that...

[The feed is, for the most part, intentional. The movement of the D-Terminal may not be as the boy sets the device on the tree limb and takes a few steps forward before situating himself with a practiced easy on top.

It seems someone has decided to meet the Beemon early.

Below the cybernetic dragon is taking a few of the
JewelBeemon out on his own. Some seem to stop and fight him as well while most seem to ignore it in lieu of their destination.]

Hm. [He shifts to grab his Digivice before pulling out two cards.] Card Slash! Hyper-Sonic. Boost Chip.

[The Cyberdramon seems to be doing noticeably better in both overpowering and sped that makes the boy relax a little before turning to the D-Terminal.]

Everyone has a few more hours to be prepared. I've arranged to esord a Trailmon safely through to the city and to File Island. Once you're out of range o these guys it'll be safer. They seem to only have one motive.

Most of you may not want to fight, but you don't have a choice. We don't have a choice. It's like Koushirou said, if you want a home to go back to you've got to protect it yourself. That's why you're here. This isn't some game.

Taichi needs help. Whatever he's found has to be something to do with why we're all here in the first place. Want to go home? Then he needs help.

We're not going to make you fight, but everyone is lucky to have that city. It's convenient. If you don't want to see yourself living in then wild then protect it.

[Sighing, he stands up as he turns to look over at Cyberdramon. He's far too used to this, but he's not going to say it.]

RYOU!

[The gravelly shout of his partner makes Ryou clutch his hand.]

I'm coming.

[He tossed the D-Terminal a look over his shoulder though the viewer could no longer see his face.]

Instead of pretending this has nothing to do with you, I suggest you guys get ready. That Trailmon will be there in an hour. It won't be there long. We can guide you out, but after that it's whoever wants to go with you.

It's up to you.

[And with that he jumps from the limb as the feed times out.]

Second Verse: Video

--But it won't help!

You never know until you try, Marley!

[By the looks and sounds of things, Hawkmon has hijacked the D-Terminal and is running around...it looks like the convention center. The bouncing scenery is at least a small clue to the fact that he's being chased.]

Hawkmon, please, give it back. They've got enough on their hands as it is!

All the more reason to encourage them a little bit! Come on! It's not asking a whole lot, is it?

[There's a sigh just off camera. Marley's caved.]

A-All right, fine. I'll do it.

Hooray! Here, let's just set the D-Terminal here-- [The D-Terminal is actually stationary now, if not slightly askew, and now shows Hawkmon pushing Marley by the legs into view.] You stand there, and you know what to do!

Okay...um. Hi, this is all Hawkmon's idea. Maybe since we're not out there on the front lines with everyone else, we can provide something to show our support? So...here goes...

And thus, Marley begins to sing. )

[The song ends and Marley smiles.]

I hope it helps...at least a little, any way.

[The video ends with Hawkmon hopping into view to turn off the D-Terminal, but not before a "See, that wasn't so bad!" could be heard.]

[[OOC: This is the version of Use Somebody that Marley is singing, for reference.]]
